What are the essential characteristics of a successful entrepreneur?
1) Desire! If you have the “Want to ” you can always find the “How to” in any business. 2) Focus! If you can get focused on a goal and work everyday to move closer to the fulfillment of your vision you can succeed. 3) Perseverance! A do not quit attitude is a must to succeed. Do you have to be born with these characteristics or do you think they can be acquired? I know they can be acquired! I was very fortunate to be mentored by some awesome leaders and I was coachable. I was hungry for success and found some role models who I respected and wanted my life to look like theirs. These characteristics can be acquired. The real question is “How bad do you want them?” When you’re considering an investment or starting up a new venture, what are some of the key elements you look for? The first thing I do is pray whether or not I should get involved. Next I look at the integrity and past performance of the investment or business.
