What are the environmental and health benefits of ULSD?
• When ULSD is fully implemented in 2030, the environmental benefits will include: Smog-causing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reduced by 2.6 million tons annually. Particulate emissions reduced by 110,000 tons annually. In the long term, this program will result in more than $70 billion in environmental and public health benefits each year, at a cost of only $4 billion per year.
