What are the environmental advantages for a manufacturer who uses Delta-Energy processed carbon black materials?
Tire companies have had an end of life issue, and about 17 years ago the U.S. tire industry decided they were going to attack this issue and not simply landfill tires. At that time only 10% tires were being reused or recycled. Now over 85% of tires in the US are being reused and not landfilled. In the case of TDF material is burnt and generates CO2. We are really an ultimate green business in the sense that we are taking items currently going to a landfills and producing fuel that replaces the limited resource of oil and supplement virgin carbon black that directly reduces related fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. So the advantages to our customers are that they’ve reduced their CO2 footprint, they’ve reduced the amount of fuel consumed to make their raw materials and they’ve reduced their costs.
