What are the entry requirements for Pharmacy at LJMU?
We ask for ABB / BBB at A2 (Chemistry A-level is essential and Biology must be studied to at least AS level). The nature of the conditional offer is dependent on the performance on our mandatory entry assessments (see below for further information). Do you accept Access courses? We accept the Access to Science Diploma – the majority of the level three credits in the Access course must come from the Chemistry and Biology modules. We ask for 80- 90% overall with an average 80-90% in Chemistry and Biology modules. Alternatively, we may ask for distinctions in all subjects. You will also need to have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above. We do not accept alternative qualifications for GCSE. Students who reach the interview stage with alternative qualifications will also need to complete and pass a Chemistry test in addition to the aptitude test and interview. Do you accept BTEC courses? We accept the BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science and would ask for distinctions in all subje
