What are the enrollment projections?
The District projects enrollments will increase by 54% over the next five years. Current enrollment is 22,118 students. In 2009 the projected enrollment is 33,147 students. These conservative projections show the annual addition of 2,400 students. In 2009-2010 in the absence of this referendum there will be: · 16,947 elementary students = 3,415 elementary students over capacity. · 7,930 middle school students = 1,338 middle school students over capacity. · 8,270 high school students = 1,070 high school students over capacity.
