• Students must be at least fourteen (14) chronological years of age by the first day of classroom instruction. • In order for a student 14 – 17 years of age to register for the behind-the-wheel portion of our driving program, he or she must first meet the following requirements: • have in his/her name and possession a valid Arkansas driving learners permit, and • have successfully completed one day of Driving Academy classroom instruction or another approved driver education program. • Students 14 – 17 years of age must sign our academy/student agreement jointly with a parent, guardian, or guarantor. • In order for a student age 18 years or older to register for the behind-the-wheel portion of our driving program, he or she is only required to have in his/her name and possession a valid Arkansas driving learners permit. However, a student desiring to receive an insurance discount should check with his/her insurance representative for their requirements.
