What are the English Language qualifications?

0

Students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English. The most usual qualifications are TOEFL for which a score of 580 (paper-based) or 237 (computer-based) is acceptable, and IELTS with a score of 6.5 or better. There are many other acceptable qualifications; for further information please contact the International Office (irro@liv.ac.uk) or the Department. If you have been educated in English medium, we may be able to waive the language requirement, but we shall require some form of official certification or evidence of your proficiency. Q15.
