What are the enemies of the cheetah?
The cheetah’s main enemies are lions, hyenas and other large predators. They might still its food or even kill its cubs. But the cheetah’s worst enemy is man. Because human beings are moving into cheetah territory, the cheetah is losing prey, habitat, and chances of coming in contact with humans and domestic animals are higher. This is why at CCF we have an extensive education program to train livestock farmers on techniques that will allow them to live in harmony with the cheetah.
