What are the employment opportunities associated with the Fellowship program?
Fellows will be employed in leadership positions in projects involving one of the many residential, commercial, economic or community development initiatives designed to bring about positive change in Detroit. These jobs will likely involve coordination with other public and social service organizations, as well as a variety of institutions in the area. We have compiled a listing of the types of activities Fellows may be involved in. The listing is only illustrative and it does not represent the specific jobs or tasks that a Fellow will be offered. Fellows are at-will employees of their host organizations and the specific nature of each fellow’s job requirements and expectations will be set by the individual host organization. Candidates who are selected as finalists for the fellowship should address specific questions about job expectations during their interviews with potential employers and host organizations.
