What are the employment and salary outlooks for PAs?
The employment outlook for PAs is positive. The US Department of Labor has identified the physician assistant profession as one of the 10 fastest growing occupations, 2002-12. Stony Brook PA graduates are highly rated and sought after by employers. For the past several years over 25% of each graduating class has had at least one job offer prior to graduation and over 90% of recent classes have been employed within 12 weeks of graduation.
