What are the eligibility requirements?
Here’s what you need to be eligible for an Undergraduate / Graduate Private Education Loan: • An undergraduate or graduate student 18 years of age or older (19 in Nebraska and Alabama, 21 in Mississippi and Puerto Rico) in a degree or certificate program • Enrolled at least half-time as determined by your school • Attending an EraseStudentDebt.com -approved school • Meeting the guidelines below (a co-signer is typically necessary for undergraduate students to qualify, but is not required to apply): • You and/or your co-signer, if any, are creditworthy • You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident Note: An approved school is any accredited degree-granting institution of higher education approved by EraseStudentDebt.com Loan.
To be eligible to apply for scholarship assistance an individual must be a member of the Connecticut Charts-A-Course Registry, currently employed in a child care program that is licensed by the Department of Public Health and meet eligibility requirements as set forth by the funding organizations and agencies that fund the Scholarship Assistance Program. Candidates for the George Family Foundation Fellowships are individuals who are currently enrolled in the joint degree program offered through Harvard Business School (HBS) and Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). Applications are accepted from students only in the spring of the second year of the joint degree program. The George Fellowship is awarded for the third and final year of the joint degree. Applicants are encouraged to contact the George Leadership Fellowship Selection Committee with any questions about eligibility before submitting their applications.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Applicants must have completed their undergraduate education and be working in their chosen professions. Individuals currently employed by the Federal government are not eligible to apply with the exception of career military personnel. Some examples of Federal employees who are not eligible to apply for the program are: law clerks for the Supreme Court and District Court, members of the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
