What are the eligibility requirements?
Students must be nominated by their high school principal to be considered for the USSYP. Principals may nominate up to two students from their high school. Nominated students must be high school juniors or seniors and currently serving in an elected or selected capacity in student government, civic, or educational organization. Additionally, students must be permanent residents of the United States and currently enrolled in California public or private secondary schools. To qualify for a Payday Loan you must meet the following criteria: You must be nineteen (19) years of age or older. You must be actively working. You must have been with your employer for a minimum of (3) months. You must have an active bank account with at least (15) transactions and no more than (2) NSF charges on your bank statement in the last thirty days. You must not have filed for bankruptcy in the past year. You must have an active phone that we can reach you at. Unfortunately we do not lend to applicants who are self-employed, seasonally or otherwise temporarily employed, paid by commission, on social assistance, or on worker’s compensation. Applicants must be over 18 (except for the Teen Tournament, College Championship and the Kids’ shows). You are not eligible to be a contestant on Jeopardy! if you have appeared on any version of the show with Alex Trebek. You are not eligible to be a contestant on Jeopardy! if you have appeared on a game show/dating show/relationship show/reality show in the last year or three game shows/dating shows/relationship shows/reality shows in the last 10 years. You may not be eligible to play on Jeopardy! if you are employed by, related to, or within the last five years known anyone who works for Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Sony Pictures Television Inc., Quadra Productions, Inc., CBS Television Distribution, Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy! prize suppliers, or any TV station (including advertisers and related radio stations) broadcasting Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy!
There are HUD requirements which all housing authorities must use. There are also Housing Authority requirements; HUD allows housing authorities to establish their own requirements in addition to HUD’s mandatory requirements. HUD Requirements: (1). Eligible for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. (2) First-time homebuyer requirements. (3) Minimum income requirement – annual income not less than federal minimum wage multiplied by 2,000 hours (except disabled and elderly) (4) Minimum employment requirement – one or more adults who will own the home is currently employed full-time (not less than average 30 hours per week) and has been continuously employed during the year before homeownership assistance. (5) No previous default on a mortgage under the Homeownership Program. (6) No family member has ownership interest in a residence. (7) Mandatory pre-homeownership and housing counseling. Qualified educational expenses are generally the same as they are for the Hope Scholarship. However, unlike the Lifetime Learning Credit, the courses taken by the filer need not be a part of a program related to job skills. In addition, filers who claim the new Deduction for Educational Expenses cannot also claim a Hope or a Lifetime Tax Credit for the same educational expenses. In other words, in any given tax year, eligible taxpayers may claim either a Hope or Lifetime Tax Credit or the new education tax deduction, but not both with respect to educational expenses for same student.
