What are the eligibility requirements to apply for an IFP fellowship?
• Applicant must be an Egyptian citizen residing in Egypt. • Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum cumulative grade of “good” (holders of international degrees are not eligible). • Applicant should not have achieved or is currently registered in MA program prior to submitting their IFP application. • Applicant must have leadership skills and demonstrate community or voluntary service. • Applicant must have a minimum of three years of work experience. • Applicant must pursue his/her degree in any of the eligible fields mentioned above. • Applicant must achieve a minimum score of 450 on the TOEFL (ITP) exam provided by AMIDEAST, or a minimum score of 4 on the IELTS exam provided by the British Council. • Applicant must be committed to working in Egypt and serving his/her community after completing the fellowship. • Once selected, the applicant must be committed to a year of language and professional training in Egypt until placed in a university program.
