Members of the Illinois National Guard or the Illinois Naval Militia who have served at least one year and who are currently in the guard or militia may apply for this grant which covers tuition and certain fees for credit classes for eight semesters of full- or part-time study. This grant is open to all officers, as well as enlisted personnel. Note: If you are eligible for the Illinois National Guard Grant, you cannot use the Monetary Award Program (MAP) grant.
