What are the eligibility requirements for the Emerald Eagle Scholars program?
• have submitted all documents required by the UNT Admissions Office before March 1, 2010 • have completed the 2010-2011 FAFSA before March 31, 2010 • enroll as a freshman the same year they graduate from high school (transfer students are not eligible) • be a Texas resident • be a member of a family whose adjusted gross income does not exceed $40,000 • be eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant through UNT • sign a statement of commitment to this exceptional program • attend a UNT freshman orientation.
