• If you became a member before September 1, 2007, you can retire at age 65 with 5 or more years of service credit; or your age and years of service credit total 80 and you have at least five years of service credit. • If you became a member or returned to membership on or after September 1, 2007, you can retire at age 65 with five or more years of service credit; or your age and years of service credit total 80, you have at least five years of service credit, AND you are at least age 60. • If you are a grandfathered member who returns to membership on or after September 1, 2007 you can retire at age 65 with five or more years of service credit; or age 55 with at least 20 years of service credit and your age and years of service credit total 80; or you are age 60 with at least five years of service and your age and years of service credit total 80.
