What are the eligibility requirements for FINISH UP for FREE?
You must be a resident of one of the counties in the Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment (EKCEP) region (click here for map). • You must be a United States citizen. • If you are a male over age 18, you must be registered with Selective Service. • You must need 18 semester hours or less to complete an Associate Degree in a program that meets EKCEP guidelines and is on the EKCEP list of eligible training providers. These include, but are not limited to, the colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) as well as other public and private institutions that grant Associate Degrees. • You must not have been enrolled in school since January 1, 2009. • You must have had a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale when you left school. • You must be readmitted to school, pending forgiveness by your college(s) of any Return to Title IV debt. • You must provide a written graduation plan demonstrating the goal of completing needed degree c
