What are the eligibility conditions under the scheme?
• The weaver should be earning at least 50% of his income from handloom weaving. • All weavers, whether male or female, between the age group of 18 and 59 years are eligible to be covered under the scheme, including minorities, SC, ST and women weavers. • The nominee of the deceased shall produce death certificate, FIR report / police inquest report, medical certificate, Hospital discharge certificate as the case may be, in case of accidental or partial / total disability.
