What are the efforts made by soth asian countries yo conserve wildlife?
Well till date we have countless NGO’s working for wildlife conservation but if you see the ground work very few organisations actually do it. On ground level i.e. between common people, villagers and forest dwellers very few people go and deal with their problem. Remember in Indian subcontinent wildlife conservation is in the culture and it is not like in Europe where local cultures have killed or eaten and finished almost all wildlife. Our tradition and culture tells us to live with all living beings with equality. South asian cultures have been doing so till invasion of English and other europeans. They made us more materialistic and we started forgeting our culture. Now many so called NGO’s are working for regenerating the age old sentiments but it seems they are failing altogether. People are not very interested in saving our flora and fauna and this is a big problem. It seems NGO’s are doing there work half heartidly.
