What are the effects of the Columbine shootings?
The Columbine shooting has contributed to the idea that somehow guns should be kept off of campuses. It seems that the message hasn’t gotten through that a “do not take guns beyond this point” sign is not going to be observed by somebody’s who’s intent on kidnap, murder, or violating the law in some other way. So that ban on guns doesn’t work any better than it does say for the whole city of Washington.
