During pregnancy you may experience many side effects, one of them is sciatica. Sciatica is not limited to pregnant women but many women may experience some form of sciatica during pregnancy. Sciatic nerves are the widest and longest nerves in the body one on the right side and one on the left. They pass between the lower back, buttocks, thighs, and legs on each side. In normal conditions this nerve provides the muscles of your legs with feelings. There are times though when the nerve can be ignited if there is any pressure on it thus not providing enough of your blood to flow freely.
