What are the effects of greenhouse gases on global winds, ocean currents, and global climate?
Greenhouse gases will not have direct effect on the global winds and ocean currents. But yes the green house gases will have an effect on the global climate. Because of the greenhouse gases the temperatures will rise and it will change the normal pressure conditions on the globe….triggering phenomenon like elnino, lanina.global winds(polar easterlies, westerlies, tropical easterlies) will become stronger in some places and weaker in some places causing stronger hurricanes/cyclones in some places and severe droughts in some places.so,these kinds of extreme conditions will occur. Now effect on ocean currents ? — Assuming that you know the significance of the ocean currents !! ……The main activity of ocean currents which is the transfer of energy………. will be adversely affected because of the global warming caused by green house gases. The ocean currents which move from hot regions to cold regions and from cold regions to hot regions stop to work ! ……….as the polar regions wh
