What are the effects of GHG emissions?
The effects of climate change due to increased concentrations of GHG emissions will vary around the world. Temperatures, rainfall and known climatic patterns will change. The impacts may be both positive and negative affecting the distribution of plants and animals, the frequency of storms and floods, and the spread of weeds, pests and diseases which may influence agriculture and our health. Without any reduction in GHG emissions on a global front, the world as we know it will in all likelihood not be the same for our children’s children.
