What are the EBSCO Databases?
Maine residents are free to access the EBSCO Databases, which contain many full text articles from newspapers, journals and magazines, some dating back to 1990, either in the library or from home. Internet access is available at http://libraries.maine.edu/mainedatabases or through the librarys web site at http://www.norway.lib.me.us. Other databases, which are part of MARVEL!, Maines Virtual Library, can also be found at this site. These instructions apply to searching the EBSCO Database collection. How does one log on to the databases from home? Once you are at the MARVEL home page, select the EBSCOHost Database Collection. Next, select Register here. All information is required, except company information. When you get to library affiliation, use the drop down menu and select public library. In the username field, create your name.
