What are the ear caps and how are they used / What can I do to ensure the most comfortable fit?
The ear caps are soft pliable tips that are placed on the tip of the hearing aid before it is inserted into the ear. We include two different styles and a total of five different sizes so you can choose the cap that provides you the most comfortable fit. We suggest that you start with the medium sized ear cap. If the fit is too loose, switch to the larger size. If the fit is too tight, use a smaller size. The two charging nodes on the underside of the hearing aid should always be facing toward your head, and the hearing aid should fit comfortably and securely within the outer ear. If you have trouble slipping the hearing aid into your ear, you can rub a little bit of mineral oil on the ear cap to facilitate insertion. You may also benefit from pulling back on your ear with one hand while inserting the hearing aid into your ear.
