What are the duties of the Ambassador?
An Ambassador will update the community information for their online military community. Other duties include updating entries in the Ambassador Blog, answering questions from military families, and monitoring the content and pictures that visitors may upload to the community. The Ambassador may also attend local events such as Chamber of Commerce meetings or local business conferences. The Ambassador will not be required to attend local community events, but doing so will be an opportunity to promote the community locally. The Ambassador is encouraged to give suggestions on the content that should be added to the Community Information section. Remember, the Ambassador will lead the direction of their community since they know the community best.
