What are the duties of New York Inter-Group’s employees?
The Executive Secretary manages the office; supervises two full-time and one part-time employees, prepares the annual budget and monthly financial statements, monitors literature inventory levels and preparation of semi-annual Meeting List Books, provides administrative support to the Public Information Committee and attends monthly Finance and Steering Committee meetings as well as quarterly Inter-Group Delegates’ meetings. The Executive Secretary also provides administrative support to the annual Bill W. Dinner Committee, the annual Corrections & Treatment Facilities Committee Literature Fund Dinner/Dance Committee and The Big Meeting Committee. The Staff Assistant, Group Relations, prepares and mails announcements of Inter-Group events, recruits and supervises volunteer mailers, does word processing for the Steering Committee, coordinates quarterly Delegates’ meetings, orders literature from A.A. World Services and serves literature customers. She also maintains monthly Cash Receipt
