What are the duties of an ECC Volunteer?
The main responsibilities at this point are welcoming new members, monitoring the Discussion Boards and Live Chat rooms, icon/avatar development, participation in “special projects”, research, developing web pages, helping to develop the ECC Shelter, Public Relations, language translations and more. Each volunteer will not necessarily do all these things, only the activities they are interested in. We currently have monthly teleconference calls. One final note: there is no financial cost to become a volunteer (contrary to what it says on the *** Deluxe Options *** page prior to being changed).
