What are the duties and responsibilities of the Lead Reader?
The lead readers role is the person responsible for leading the synchronized read-aloud with the students at his or her respective site. They are to read the approved reading material/passage for the record attempt at the exact time as the read aloud portion of the broadcast program, scheduled for 11:25 am EST and in accordance to the official time/clock that can be accessed at http://nist.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java.
