What are the duties and responsibilities of a warehouse quality assurance?
A quality assurance department inspects the work of the organization and reject all defects, so they can be repairs or done over. The essential functions of a warehouse are to receive goods that are sent there for storage, put them in a safe place, accurately record the location and the count, get the goods out of the storage location when a customer or user asks for a quantity of a certain item, send the goods to the customer or user properly packaged, on time and to the right destination. Therefore, the function of the quality assurance department and of an inspector will be to inspect incoming shipments to make sure they contain what the paperwork says they contain, check for damage and count, check the location where the goods get placed and make sure the location is the right type location and that the records accurately show that location. An inspector will also be assigned to check outgoing shipments to make sure that the right things are being send to the right places, properly
