What are the Drivers License Requirements? What about clients who live in foreign countries?
All drivers MUST have a valid state driver’s license. We do not accept International or Military Driver’s Licenses. This license must not expire for the term of the rental and must be an original license. Licenses with any kinds of alterations will not be accepted. Q: I have a lot of tickets/accidents, can I still qualify? A: It depends. If you have an assigned risk rating through your insurance carrier, you will not qualify. If you have 3 or more tickets on your record during the last 3 years, you will not qualify. If you have had DUI-DWI type convictions, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident or serious tickets like these in the past 5 years, you will not qualify. Also, you can not have had any criminal conviction in the past 5 years to rent. Concerning accidents, there are no set rules so each case will be considered individually.
