What are the driver education requirements?
The State of Wisconsin requirements for Driver Education Courses are: 30 hours of classroom instruction 6 hours of driving observation 6 hours of actual driving instruction This is frequently referred to as the 30+6+6 course. The Student Driver Education Course at Absolute Driving Academy meets all the State requirements.
The requirements are: • 30 hours of classroom instruction with a certified driver education instructor. • 10 hours of driving with a certified driver education instructor. • 6 hours of observation with a certified driver education instructor. • Driver Education Certificate (DSMV 210). • Twenty (20) hours of additional supervised driving time with a licensed driver at least 25 years-of-age. This additional driving time must be documented on the Driver´s Out-Of-Class Log Sheet, (DSMV 509) FACT: “From 1976 through 1998, an estimated 4,193 lives were saved by child restraints.
