The dredging work window to protect listed salmonids for most projects in San Francisco Bay lasts from June 1 to November 30 of each year. The dredging work window for dredging projects in some of the tributaries to San Francisco Bay (e.g., Petaluma River, Napa River and Sonoma Creek) is somewhat shorter, lasting from August 1 to October 15 of each year.
