Ans.: For onion and garlic the doses are as follows (per ha) Onion FYM/Compost Nitrogen Phosphorus Potassium Sulphur Kharif 20 – 25 t/ha 100 50 50 50 Late Kharif 20 – 25 t/ha 150 50 50 50 Rabi 20 – 25 t/ha 150 50 80 50 Garlic 20 – 25 t/ha 100 50 50 50 Note: It is advised to give fertilizers on the basis of soil test reports. Whole quantity of FYM, Phosphorus, Potassium and Sulphur should be mixed well in the soil before transplanting/ sowing. Nitrogen should be given in three splits: first at the time of transplanting/ sowing, second one month after transplanting and third 45 50 days after transplanting. One spray of micronutrient and one spray of Polyfeed after 30 – 45 days of transplanting / sowing is beneficial. Micronutrients should be applied on basis of soil test report.
