In case of travel for business purposes for the period not exceeding 90 days (single, double or multiple entry visa) letter of invitation by a Belarusian legal entity on the letter-head of the entity with its full contact details and its commitment to provide the compliance by a foreigner with the Belarusian legislation in the field of migration, bearing a stamp (specimen of the letter of invitation is here). Fax copies of such letters of invitation are generally accepted by the Embassy with regard to the applications of EU, US, Canada, Japan and some other countries nationals. In other cases the original of the letter of invitation is needed. In case of travel for private purposes (single, double or multiple entry visa) original of a letter of invitation (specimen of the letter of invitation is here), issued by local Citizenship and Migration Office of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Belarus.
