What are the documentation requirements for a waiver?
Criminal Record for a Waiver: A certified criminal record search by the RCMP Identification Services is required for all waiver applications. We will request the search on your behalf. An FBI search is conducted by the DHS along with a set of FBI fingerprints. b) Court Information: Court documents detailing your offence(s). We will obtain the information if requested by the DHS for a fee of $15.00. c) Fingerprints: Two full sets of fingerprints are required for all waiver applications. One set of fingerprints must be taken by a U.S. Immigration official at the border or international airport. The other set may be taken at our office. Fee is included. d) Photographs: We will inform you of the size and position required depending on the district office. d) Reference Letters: We will inform you of the form and the content of the letters. e) Personal Statement: We will advise you of the content and we will review your letter for appropriateness.
