These are programs which are especially geared towards research, but an older format is now in the process of being replaced by a newer one, which conforms to EHEA directives The older format is still operational in some faculties and departments of the UB but has been phased out and replaced by the new program in others. For the time being, both doctoral and university master’s programs lead students to doctoral studies and to the preparation of the doctoral thesis as an original research contribution.
