What are the DOC IT Project Manager Certification and Equivalency Guidelines?
The DOC IT Project Manager Certification and Equivalency Guidelines (CEG) establish common competency requirements for all project management personnel. Satisfactory and documented completion of the competency requirements contained in the CEG document ensures that project management personnel possess the minimum requisite competence to fulfill related duties and responsibilities. The CEG define competency requirements necessary to satisfy three competency levels in project management. The requirements for qualification and certification at each skill level specify an increasing level of skill and/or experience from level one through level three, with each competency level corresponding to an appropriate level of project complexity in terms of cost, impact, and criticality.
