What are the disadvantages of dry cells , rechargable and solar cells ?

Dry cells are ‘single use’ (or so they would have you believe) Rechargeable are lower voltage and typically lower AHr and more expensive (plus typically have a shorter ‘shelf life’ after charging (self discharge)) Solar cells are very expensive compared to the other types, and can (usually) not be relied on to deliver current when needed (i.e. they don’t work in the dark).
