What are the disadvantages of buying a Bang & Olufsen Plasma Television?
Plasma screens are actually quite heavy due to the high glass content and also use a considerable amount of energy. Plasmas also have a possibility of suffering ‘burn in’ which can lead to either a ghost image being seen on the screen (for instance if you watch a channel with a screen logo always in the same place over a long period of time this may be faintly visible when watching other channels) or more commonly a gradual loss of brightness in parts of the screen. More modern sets are less prone to ‘burn in’ and Bang & Olufsen uses a new technology in its plasma televisions to avoid this.
