I am prior military and have seen firsthand what they do on board a ship and on shore hospitals. The annual bonus is nice, since there is a shortage/demand for nurses in the civilian side. You also have enlisted people (corpman rating) working for you to help with your reponsibilities. Medical benefit is %100 (no pocket expenses) for you/family, they pay to move you/family to another duty station. Bad: Being away from you family 6 months at a time. There’s plenty more bad benefits but the good benefits outwiegh it in my opinion.
