What are the directors qualifications?
Our morning director, Edith Fecskes, has been at the Co-op for fourteen years and recently received a lifetime achievement award from the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools. Edith previously was a director of preschools in Marin City, at Mission College on the Peninsula, and at the College of Marin’s Children’s Center. She received her teaching credential at Cal-Poly and did additional graduate work in Human Development-Early Years at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena. She is well-loved and appreciated by the many children and families who have been through the Co-op. 8. Is there Summer School? Summer school runs for six weeks during late June and July. The format is slightly different: there are only 15 children per session, all attend Monday through Thursday, the hours are 9:30-12:30, and children eat lunch at school. 9.
