What are the directions for the team presentations?
• Sign up for a team presentation (first day of class). Choose team #1, essays 1-7 in Language Myths; Team #2, essays 8-15 in Language Myths; or Team #3, essays 16-21 in Language Myths. Ideally, there should be approximately 8 students on each team. • Work with your team members to prepare a class presentation on materials in your essays. Since classmates will grade the presentations, each team member should have a visible role in the class presentation. • There should be a volunteer team leader, who is responsible for the overall organization of the class presentation, but this is a team effort and each person should contribute to the effort. • The team leader, or someone the leader assigns, is responsible for the presentation handout, a concise summary of the presentation topics to be distributed to class members on day of the presentation.
