What are the different weapons used in kendo?
Kendo is specifically the art of the sword, they use different kinds of makes of the Katana, be it made from Wood, or a Shinai made of bamboo, or the real blade itself as Iadoist use and kenjutsu. Those other weapons do not have anything to do with Kendo sorry. Sure have as well, but those are their own art forms the other weapons. Yes it can be cool to watch the various weapons clash but in Kendo it is just the Katana. The things you are watching those other weapons they are trained in were not from Kendo but from other training arts. Escrima for example and Arniss, Silat. So many other weapon arts out their besides the sword. I think that is what you want to know possibly.
