The two primary processes that are supported for publishing (“uploading”) and modifying existing web files in the directory are: • Via the WAN: • Mac: • school/department site-to-server file transfer through “chooser” using any software to create and save to web folder (DreamWeaver, PageMill, Claris Home Page, Netscape Composer, etc.) • FrontPage Mac version allows for direct access and publishing. • PC (Windows 95, 98): • Direct Connection to the web server with FrontPage. • Add a web folder shortcut connection through “My computer” in the “Web Folders” directory.
