• Borosilicate glass- Any soda lime glass that contains boron as a primary ingredient. Borosilicate glasses must be segregated by the % of boron that appears in the glass and by color. Sources are headlamps, eyeglasses, electrical meter covers, street lamp lenses, and medicine vials. • Tableware- can be various colors (including clear, cobalt blue, etc.) and chemistries. All tableware should be separated by color since the chemistry can be different for each product. • Fluorescent light bulb glass- this glass has a similar chemistry to flint bottle glass. The glass must be processed in accordance with accepted EPA standards. • Incandescent light bulb glass- similar to fluorescent glass but does not contain mercury contamination. • Bulletproof glass- a laminated glass product that is several layers thick. The vinyl may or may not be PVB.
