What are the different types of weed?
The different types of weed (I’m taking the slang term weed to mean marijuana) are three. One is sativa which is used as a psychoactive recreational drug and more recently for its medicinal properties. Another is ruderalis which is little used and mostly considered to be too small and chemically weak in THC to be worth commercial cultivation. The last type is indica which is grown for it high fiber content. There are many uses for the fiber from the manufacture of clothing to paper.
