What are the different types of warrants?
Generally, there are three types: Bench, Search and Arrest. An Arrest Warrant is one issued by a court on the affadavit of either a police officer, peace officer or other “officer of the court,” that a known person or persons are subject to arrest for the police on the suspicion (using evidence set forth in the affadavit,) that a crime has been comitted or will be comitted.
