What are the different types of therapists out there?
There are so many types, and for each one, there are different levels. There’s: Drug counselor: Which can be anything from an assistant, to somebody practicing with direct or indirect supervision, or somebody practicing independently. Rehabilitation Counselor: Which help people to cope with their functional limitations and locate work. Social Worker: Licensed or Licensed Independent – work with people to overcome obstacles to success and happiness in their personal and social lives, including mental illnesses. Professional Counselor: Independent or Supervised – have special training in counseling or counseling psychology to help people deal primarily with personal and mental-health issues, and secondarily with social actives and obstacles to success.
