What are the different types of the district’s current levy?
The district currently has operating levies that were approved prior to 1978 with voted millage of 21.7 mills. The district also has the following levies that were passed as continuing levies: 2005 – 7.89 mills property and .75% earned income tax; and the 2008 renewal levy of 16.8 mills. The district also has the 2.75 mill permanent improvement levy that was first approved in 2000. The permanent improvement levy is also for the continuing number of years.
